The Who and the Why

I love to hear my own voice. 

Others, whether they are lying or not, say they like it too. So I'm going to share that voice here.

I'm legitimately starting life over in my mid-thirties after retiring from my long-time government career. I'm now exploiting the time I have (before I need to re-enter the real world) to do whatever I want. And I want to travel and wreak havoc. And by havoc, I mean eat and take pictures, mostly. I spent eleven years kicking ass and taking names so I figure that's a fair compromise.

I'd like to be able to say I've seen as many of the 48 lower states and National Parks of the United States as possible.

Here I will share my photos, my anecdotes, my hilarious mishaps, and my perspective. I'm an east coast Italian that swears like a sailor and calls it as I see it. I laugh at double entendres like a ten-year-old boy.

Note: This blog is going to have stories, one-liners, observations (but better than Seinfeld), and pictures.
